DIANA K. MAY Senior Assistant County Attorney, El Paso County
Diana K. May has been practicing law since 1994. She previously was a Deputy District Attorney and Chief Deputy District Attorney for the 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office for fourteen years and a Deputy District Attorney for the 15th Judicial District Attorney’s Office for three years. Ms. May focused her prosecution career on homicide, sexual assault and domestic violence cases. Some of Ms. May’s community service includes volunteering with the Ending Violence Against Women (EVAW) Project, Teen Court, Safe2Tell and TESSA. In 2005, she was awarded the Colorado Springs Business Journal’s Women of Influence Award. In 2009, the Colorado District Attorney’s Council named her as Faculty Trainer of the Year. In 2011, Ms. May began serving El Paso County as a Senior Assistant County Attorney with the El Paso County Attorney’s Office. She was selected as the El Paso County Oil and Gas Local Government Designee. She currently represents El Paso County elected officials and defends El Paso County in civil litigation.
