Angela Mackey has been a domestic violence and sexual assault advocate at Tri-County Resources for seven years. Ms. Mackey is a certified mediator and facilitator and has been facilitating the domestic violence support groups for 6 years. She was a co-located advocate for DHS/TANF for two years in Delta Co. She is the Chair Person for CCADV’s Public Policy Committee and an active member of Access to Justice in the 7th Jud. She has been cross training as a civilian advocate with NCDSV for 2 1/2 years as well as on going training in Trauma Informed Care. Ms. Mackey brings a fresh perspective to her work and her groups because she loves her work. She works hard at keeping herself from burning out in this work and believes this is a good way to show other advocates some of those tools to use in their work.
