New protections for LGBTQ survivors of intimate partner and sexual violence

  • As a result of multi-year advocacy from LGBTQ communities, recent laws and policies now grant unprecedented rights and protections to LGBTQ survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. It’s important for all of us to know what rights survivors have to safety and support. This workshop will cover the basics of these new protections, and what domestic violence and sexual assault programs can do to align with best practices.
