Advocating for Immigrant Victims of Crime
-
- Presentation speakers
The protections outlined in the Violence Against Women’s Act and the Trafficking Victims Protection Act were created to remove obstacles immigrants face in leaving abusers and to strengthen the ability of law enforcement to investigate criminal activity while providing immigration status options for undocumented survivors. This training will provide you with the tools you need to inform undocumented victims about these immigration relief options including VAWA Self Petitions and U and T Visas.
