My name is Lonnie Erskine, I have a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling and have been working with Estes Valley Victim Advocates for three years. I have experience as a voluneer advocate, paid safehouse evening advocate then was hired on as the part-time Safehouse Manager and part-time Counselor. I have enjoyed my work as a crisis advocate/counselor helping women and children through empowerment and healing. As the group counselor, I have implemented the Healing Trauma curriculum which has helped women ground themselves and become more aware of how to grow from an unhealthy relationship towards a healthy one.
