Emily Tofte Nestaval, MSW

  • Emily Tofte Nestaval, MSW is the former Executive Director of the Rocky Mountain Victim Law Center (RMvlc). She joined RMvlc in December 2012 and left in April 2014 when she moved to St. Paul, Minnesota where she currently resides. Emily received her master’s degree in social work from the University of Michigan in 2007 and holds two bachelor’s degrees (Psychology and Criminal Justice) from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. She has been working in the field of domestic and sexual violence intervention and prevention since 2001. Previously, Emily was the Executive Director of H.A.V.E.N. (formerly The Network Against Sexual and Domestic Violence) in Bozeman, Montana. Emily moved to Colorado in 2008 and was the Assistant Director at Moving to End Sexual Assault (MESA) in Boulder, Colorado for four years. At MESA, Emily oversaw the Prevention Education and Client Services Departments. From 2009 – 2013, Emily served on the Colorado Coalition Against Sexual Assault’s Board of Directors as the Chairperson.
