Andie Lyons has spent the last 10 years working with and for empowered youth communities in Colorado. Her previous professional roles have included working with youth on violence prevention, community organizing and the creation of safe communities; training and technical assistance for youth, schools and service providers on LGBTQ youth competency; special event logistics and planning; program development and facilitation on a wide variety of topics including gender, writing for social justice and youth organizing; and supporting adult allies in collaborative work with youth. Andie holds a Masters degree in Theological Studies, with dual emphases on the sociology of religion and peace and justice studies.
