Incorporating a Social Justice Framework into Prevention Education
-
- Presentation speakers
In order to end dating abuse and sexual assault, we must understand and challenge how varying forms of oppression are intricately woven into these issues. SPAN and MESA’s Peers Building Justice (PBJ) curriculum supplements three evidence-based violence prevention curricula with a social justice framework to address the social roots of violence. PBJ graduates are equipped to have healthy relationships, practice sexual consent and advocate for social justice.
