Implementing You Have Options in Brighton
-
- Presentation speakers
Brighton Police Department is implementing a unique reporting system for victims of sexual assault called the You Have Options Program. This system is now available nationwide and was developed by the City of Ashland Police Department. This reporting system allows victims a three tier approach: anonymous, meeting with a Detective without giving identifying information and a traditional law enforcement report. Brighton PD is the first agency in the nation to agree to comply with APD’s rigorous requirements to implement the program. More information can be found at http://www.reportingoptions.org/
