Domestic Violence, Children, and Pets: A Project Connection Update
-
- Presentation speakers
Over the past three years, several Colorado DV programs have interviewed clients for Project Connections, administering research surveys about domestic violence, children and pets. This workshop will provide preliminary research findings and share some powerful stories from those who’ve participated, emphasizing Latina survivors. We will discuss how research has already improved protection orders to include pets, how this research could improve domestic violence services, and encourage agencies to partner with researchers as yet another form of victim advocacy.
